PRAY THE DEVIL BACK TO HELL

Pray the Devil Back to Hell is the gripping account of a group of brave, visionary women who demanded peace for Liberia. I watched this documentary on freedomfilmfest 2010. I was very impressed and amazed by making this documentary. It gives us a very clear picture of their government to be imprisoned cruelly ignores the people there. I wonder if our country Malaysia is the same as the country of Liberia, are women in Malaysia will be doing the same things as women in Liberia? For me, if I am a female citizen of Liberia, though not as beautiful as our country but I'm still proud that there are very brave woman and can be proud of and an example to all women in the world. RESPECT!!

Orite!!! let me tell you a little bit about this story, Pray the Devil Back to Hell chronicles the remarkable story of the courageous Liberian women who came together to end a bloody civil war and bring peace to their shattered country. Thousands of women — ordinary mothers, grandmothers, aunts and daughters, both Christian and Muslim — came together (pliz Malaysia jangan gaduh pasal agama lagi ok) to pray for peace and then staged a silent protest outside of the Presidential Palace. Armed only with white T-shirts and the courage of their convictions, they demanded a resolution to the country’s civil war. Their actions were a critical element in bringing about a agreement during the stalled peace talks. A story of sacrifice, unity and transcendence, Pray the Devil Back to Hell honors the strength and perseverance of the women of Liberia. Inspiring, uplifting, and most of all motivating, it is a compelling testimony of how grassroots activism can alter the history of nations. Want to know more about this story?
